Goddaamn, tracks 1 and 2 still crush just as hard as they did the first time I heard em. Hell of a way to begin an album. And the member lineup is stacked! Not sure why this band has been mostly overlooked.

I miss Tantawys voice in todays albums. It was such a nice addition.

Při několikaletém poslechu tohoto alba jsem si opravdu sedl na prdel!!! Ať už jsem byl ožralý, střízlivý, pořád nemohu odolat kvalitu kytary, basy, bicí a zpěvu. Tohle je neskutečný strop technického metalu. Je to krásně výbušné, nemluvím o kvalitě zvuku, ten je neskutečný!!! A to jsem už slyšel spoustu skupin, opravdu…;)Netuším jak pro koho.. ale pro mně srdeční záležitost❤.Dan Mongrain, znám z Voivod, pro mně je to pán kytarista. Dále netřeba komentovat , nemam slov a akorát bych se asi opakoval .. protože je to opravdu bomba , tohle miluji!! , jinými slovy “masterpiece”;) 🤟 After a few years of listening to this album I was really sitting on my ass!!! Whether I've been drunk, sober, I still can't resist the quality of the guitar, bass, drums and vocals. That's an incredible ceiling of technical metal. It's beautifully explosive, I'm not talking about the sound quality, it's incredible!!! And I've heard that from a lot of groups already...;) I have no idea how for whom... but for me it's a matter of the heart❤. Dan Mongrain, whom I know from Voivod, is a master guitarist for me. There is no need to comment further, I have no words and I would probably just repeat myself.. because this is really the bomb, I love this!! “Masterpiece”;) 🤟

I remember when this first came out... it seemed like this niche band would never get the love they deserved. Watching them play to like 100 people in small venues in Brisbane or maybe a few extra in Melbourne. SO proud to see where they ended up

Such a banger album. Blink of an Eye is a masterpiece and I've never heard anything like it since. and let's not forget 20:09 - COME WITH UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUS! this whole minute of music is INCREDIBLE.

I used to play in a technical death metal band around 2006 and we all were total DM/Grindcore/BM nerds. Me and the other guitarist adored this album...never was there any problem for us with the vocals lol. This album was just fucking insane for its time.

I’m 25, but I remember when the flesh prevails dropped I was just a junior in high school and I absolutely loved that album. Bought one of their shirts, it actually burned in the house fire. Then this album came out when I was 20. Forgot about these past few years. Dead Sea is one of the best metal sounds I’ve ever heard, ever.

A friend got me into this band in 2008. I'd never heard anything like it, or have since. If "Technical Thrash Metal" were a genre - this is the defining masterpiece.
